CVE-2024-8842 1 Pdf-xchange 2 Pdf-tools, Pdf-xchange Editor 2024-12-04 N/A 7.8 HIGH
PDF-XChange Editor RTF File Parsing Uninitialized Variable Remote Code Execution Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of PDF-XChange Editor. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file. The specific flaw exists within the parsing of RTF files. The issue results from the lack of proper initialization of memory prior to accessing it. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the current process. Was ZDI-CAN-24481.

CVE-2024-36454 2024-11-21 N/A 5.3 MEDIUM
Use of uninitialized resource issue exists in IPCOM EX2 Series (V01L0x Series) V01L07NF0201 and earlier, and IPCOM VE2 Series V01L07NF0201 and earlier. If this vulnerability is exploited, the system may be rebooted or suspended by receiving a specially crafted packet.
CVE-2024-32906 1 Google 1 Android 2024-11-21 N/A 7.8 HIGH
In AcvpOnMessage of avcp.cpp, there is a possible EOP due to uninitialized data. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
CVE-2024-27431 2024-11-21 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: cpumap: Zero-initialise xdp_rxq_info struct before running XDP program When running an XDP program that is attached to a cpumap entry, we don't initialise the xdp_rxq_info data structure being used in the xdp_buff that backs the XDP program invocation. Tobias noticed that this leads to random values being returned as the xdp_md->rx_queue_index value for XDP programs running in a cpumap. This means we're basically returning the contents of the uninitialised memory, which is bad. Fix this by zero-initialising the rxq data structure before running the XDP program.
CVE-2024-26901 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2024-11-21 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: do_sys_name_to_handle(): use kzalloc() to fix kernel-infoleak syzbot identified a kernel information leak vulnerability in do_sys_name_to_handle() and issued the following report [1].
