CVE-2017-4905 2 Apple, Vmware 6 Mac Os X, Esxi, Fusion and 3 more 2025-04-20 2.1 LOW 5.5 MEDIUM
VMware ESXi 6.5 without patch ESXi650-201703410-SG, 6.0 U3 without patch ESXi600-201703401-SG, 6.0 U2 without patch ESXi600-201703403-SG, 6.0 U1 without patch ESXi600-201703402-SG, 5.5 without patch ESXi550-201703401-SG; Workstation Pro / Player 12.x prior to 12.5.5; and Fusion Pro / Fusion 8.x prior to 8.5.6 have uninitialized memory usage. This issue may lead to an information leak.
CVE-2017-5103 6 Apple, Debian, Google and 3 more 8 Macos, Debian Linux, Chrome and 5 more 2025-04-20 4.3 MEDIUM 4.3 MEDIUM
Use of an uninitialized value in Skia in Google Chrome prior to 60.0.3112.78 for Linux, Windows, and Mac allowed a remote attacker to obtain potentially sensitive information from process memory via a crafted HTML page.
CVE-2017-5102 6 Apple, Debian, Google and 3 more 9 Macos, Debian Linux, Android and 6 more 2025-04-20 4.3 MEDIUM 4.3 MEDIUM
Use of an uninitialized value in Skia in Google Chrome prior to 60.0.3112.78 for Mac, Windows, Linux, and Android allowed a remote attacker to obtain potentially sensitive information from process memory via a crafted HTML page.
CVE-2017-9098 3 Debian, Graphicsmagick, Imagemagick 3 Debian Linux, Graphicsmagick, Imagemagick 2025-04-20 5.0 MEDIUM 7.5 HIGH
ImageMagick before 7.0.5-2 and GraphicsMagick before 1.3.24 use uninitialized memory in the RLE decoder, allowing an attacker to leak sensitive information from process memory space, as demonstrated by remote attacks against ImageMagick code in a long-running server process that converts image data on behalf of multiple users. This is caused by a missing initialization step in the ReadRLEImage function in coders/rle.c.
CVE-2024-32606 1 Hdfgroup 1 Hdf5 2025-04-18 N/A 5.7 MEDIUM
HDF5 Library through 1.14.3 may attempt to dereference uninitialized values in h5tools_str_sprint in tools/lib/h5tools_str.c (called from h5tools_dump_simple_data in tools/lib/h5tools_dump.c).
CVE-2024-32611 1 Hdfgroup 1 Hdf5 2025-04-18 N/A 9.8 CRITICAL
HDF5 Library through 1.14.3 may use an uninitialized value in H5A__attr_release_table in H5Aint.c.
CVE-2024-38381 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-04-16 N/A 7.1 HIGH
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfc: nci: Fix uninit-value in nci_rx_work syzbot reported the following uninit-value access issue [1] nci_rx_work() parses received packet from ndev->rx_q. It should be validated header size, payload size and total packet size before processing the packet. If an invalid packet is detected, it should be silently discarded.
CVE-2022-31741 1 Mozilla 3 Firefox, Firefox Esr, Thunderbird 2025-04-15 N/A 8.8 HIGH
A crafted CMS message could have been processed incorrectly, leading to an invalid memory read, and potentially further memory corruption. This vulnerability affects Thunderbird < 91.10, Firefox < 101, and Firefox ESR < 91.10.

CVE-2025-21959 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-04-14 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_conncount: Fully initialize struct nf_conncount_tuple in insert_tree() Since commit b36e4523d4d5 ("netfilter: nf_conncount: fix garbage collection confirm race"), `cpu` and `jiffies32` were introduced to the struct nf_conncount_tuple. The commit made nf_conncount_add() initialize `conn->cpu` and `conn->jiffies32` when allocating the struct. In contrast, count_tree() was not changed to initialize them. By commit 34848d5c896e ("netfilter: nf_conncount: Split insert and traversal"), count_tree() was split and the relevant allocation code now resides in insert_tree(). Initialize `conn->cpu` and `conn->jiffies32` in insert_tree(). CVE-2025-21996 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-04-14 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/radeon: fix uninitialized size issue in radeon_vce_cs_parse() On the off chance that command stream passed from userspace via ioctl() call to radeon_vce_cs_parse() is weirdly crafted and first command to execute is to encode (case 0x03000001), the function in question will attempt to call radeon_vce_cs_reloc() with size argument that has not been properly initialized. Specifically, 'size' will point to 'tmp' variable before the latter had a chance to be assigned any value. Play it safe and init 'tmp' with 0, thus ensuring that radeon_vce_cs_reloc() will catch an early error in cases like these. Found by Linux Verification Center (linuxtesting.org) with static analysis tool SVACE. (cherry picked from commit 2d52de55f9ee7aaee0e09ac443f77855989c6b68)
CVE-2016-5105 3 Canonical, Debian, Qemu 3 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Qemu 2025-04-12 1.9 LOW 4.4 MEDIUM
The megasas_dcmd_cfg_read function in hw/scsi/megasas.c in QEMU, when built with MegaRAID SAS 8708EM2 Host Bus Adapter emulation support, uses an uninitialized variable, which allows local guest administrators to read host memory via vectors involving a MegaRAID Firmware Interface (MFI) command.
CVE-2015-5165 7 Arista, Debian, Fedoraproject and 4 more 24 Eos, Debian Linux, Fedora and 21 more 2025-04-12 9.3 HIGH N/A
The C+ mode offload emulation in the RTL8139 network card device model in QEMU, as used in Xen 4.5.x and earlier, allows remote attackers to read process heap memory via unspecified vectors.
CVE-2015-8390 3 Fedoraproject, Pcre, Php 3 Fedora, Perl Compatible Regular Expression Library, Php 2025-04-12 7.5 HIGH 9.8 CRITICAL
PCRE before 8.38 mishandles the [: and \\ substrings in character classes, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (uninitialized memory read) or possibly have unspecified other impact via a crafted regular expression, as demonstrated by a JavaScript RegExp object encountered by Konqueror.
CVE-2016-0821 2 Google, Linux 2 Android, Linux Kernel 2025-04-12 2.1 LOW 5.5 MEDIUM
The LIST_POISON feature in include/linux/poison.h in the Linux kernel before 4.3, as used in Android 6.0.1 before 2016-03-01, does not properly consider the relationship to the mmap_min_addr value, which makes it easier for attackers to bypass a poison-pointer protection mechanism by triggering the use of an uninitialized list entry, aka Android internal bug 26186802, a different vulnerability than CVE-2015-3636.
CVE-2015-3414 5 Apple, Canonical, Debian and 2 more 6 Mac Os X, Watchos, Ubuntu Linux and 3 more 2025-04-12 7.5 HIGH N/A
SQLite before 3.8.9 does not properly implement the dequoting of collation-sequence names, which allows context-dependent attackers to cause a denial of service (uninitialized memory access and application crash) or possibly have unspecified other impact via a crafted COLLATE clause, as demonstrated by COLLATE"""""""" at the end of a SELECT statement.
