In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iio: adc: ti-ads1119: fix information leak in triggered buffer The 'scan' local struct is used to push data to user space from a triggered buffer, but it has a hole between the sample (unsigned int) and the timestamp. This hole is never initialized. Initialize the struct to zero before using it to avoid pushing uninitialized information to userspace.

  • (es) En el kernel de Linux, se ha resuelto la siguiente vulnerabilidad: iio: adc: ti-ads1119: se corrige la fuga de información en el búfer activado La estructura local 'scan' se usa para enviar datos al espacio de usuario desde un búfer activado, pero tiene un agujero entre la muestra (unsigned int) y la marca de tiempo. Este agujero nunca se inicializa. Inicialice la estructura a cero antes de usarla para evitar enviar información no inicializada al espacio de usuario.
