CVE-2019-3901 3 Debian, Linux, Netapp 11 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Active Iq Unified Manager For Vmware Vsphere and 8 more 2024-11-21 1.9 LOW 4.7 MEDIUM
A race condition in perf_event_open() allows local attackers to leak sensitive data from setuid programs. As no relevant locks (in particular the cred_guard_mutex) are held during the ptrace_may_access() call, it is possible for the specified target task to perform an execve() syscall with setuid execution before perf_event_alloc() actually attaches to it, allowing an attacker to bypass the ptrace_may_access() check and the perf_event_exit_task(current) call that is performed in install_exec_creds() during privileged execve() calls. This issue affects kernel versions before 4.8.
CVE-2019-3900 7 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 4 more 15 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 12 more 2024-11-21 6.8 MEDIUM 7.7 HIGH
An infinite loop issue was found in the vhost_net kernel module in Linux Kernel up to and including v5.1-rc6, while handling incoming packets in handle_rx(). It could occur if one end sends packets faster than the other end can process them. A guest user, maybe remote one, could use this flaw to stall the vhost_net kernel thread, resulting in a DoS scenario.
CVE-2019-3888 2 Netapp, Redhat 7 Active Iq Unified Manager, Enterprise Linux, Jboss Data Grid and 4 more 2024-11-21 5.0 MEDIUM 9.8 CRITICAL
A vulnerability was found in Undertow web server before 2.0.21. An information exposure of plain text credentials through log files because Connectors.executeRootHandler:402 logs the HttpServerExchange object at ERROR level using UndertowLogger.REQUEST_LOGGER.undertowRequestFailed(t, exchange)
CVE-2019-3882 6 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 3 more 14 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 11 more 2024-11-21 4.9 MEDIUM 5.5 MEDIUM
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel's vfio interface implementation that permits violation of the user's locked memory limit. If a device is bound to a vfio driver, such as vfio-pci, and the local attacker is administratively granted ownership of the device, it may cause a system memory exhaustion and thus a denial of service (DoS). Versions 3.10, 4.14 and 4.18 are vulnerable.
CVE-2019-3874 5 Canonical, Debian, Linux and 2 more 10 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Linux Kernel and 7 more 2024-11-21 3.3 LOW 6.5 MEDIUM
The SCTP socket buffer used by a userspace application is not accounted by the cgroups subsystem. An attacker can use this flaw to cause a denial of service attack. Kernel 3.10.x and 4.18.x branches are believed to be vulnerable.

CVE-2019-3844 3 Canonical, Netapp, Systemd Project 7 Ubuntu Linux, Cn1610, Cn1610 Firmware and 4 more 2024-11-21 4.6 MEDIUM 7.8 HIGH
It was discovered that a systemd service that uses DynamicUser property can get new privileges through the execution of SUID binaries, which would allow to create binaries owned by the service transient group with the setgid bit set. A local attacker may use this flaw to access resources that will be owned by a potentially different service in the future, when the GID will be recycled.
CVE-2019-3843 4 Canonical, Fedoraproject, Netapp and 1 more 8 Ubuntu Linux, Fedora, Cn1610 and 5 more 2024-11-21 4.6 MEDIUM 7.8 HIGH
It was discovered that a systemd service that uses DynamicUser property can create a SUID/SGID binary that would be allowed to run as the transient service UID/GID even after the service is terminated. A local attacker may use this flaw to access resources that will be owned by a potentially different service in the future, when the UID/GID will be recycled.
CVE-2019-3823 5 Canonical, Debian, Haxx and 2 more 7 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Libcurl and 4 more 2024-11-21 5.0 MEDIUM 4.3 MEDIUM
libcurl versions from 7.34.0 to before 7.64.0 are vulnerable to a heap out-of-bounds read in the code handling the end-of-response for SMTP. If the buffer passed to `smtp_endofresp()` isn't NUL terminated and contains no character ending the parsed number, and `len` is set to 5, then the `strtol()` call reads beyond the allocated buffer. The read contents will not be returned to the caller.
CVE-2019-3822 7 Canonical, Debian, Haxx and 4 more 16 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Libcurl and 13 more 2024-11-21 7.5 HIGH 9.8 CRITICAL
libcurl versions from 7.36.0 to before 7.64.0 are vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow. The function creating an outgoing NTLM type-3 header (`lib/vauth/ntlm.c:Curl_auth_create_ntlm_type3_message()`), generates the request HTTP header contents based on previously received data. The check that exists to prevent the local buffer from getting overflowed is implemented wrongly (using unsigned math) and as such it does not prevent the overflow from happening. This output data can grow larger than the local buffer if very large 'nt response' data is extracted from a previous NTLMv2 header provided by the malicious or broken HTTP server. Such a 'large value' needs to be around 1000 bytes or more. The actual payload data copied to the target buffer comes from the NTLMv2 type-2 response header.
CVE-2019-3462 3 Canonical, Debian, Netapp 5 Ubuntu Linux, Advanced Package Tool, Debian Linux and 2 more 2024-11-21 9.3 HIGH 8.1 HIGH
Incorrect sanitation of the 302 redirect field in HTTP transport method of apt versions 1.4.8 and earlier can lead to content injection by a MITM attacker, potentially leading to remote code execution on the target machine.
