A flaw was found in Cockpit in versions prior to 260 in the way it handles the certificate verification performed by the System Security Services Daemon (SSSD). This flaw allows client certificates to authenticate successfully, regardless of the Certificate Revocation List (CRL) configuration or the certificate status. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to confidentiality.
CVE-2021-3697 2 Gnu, Redhat 12 Grub2, Codeready Linux Builder, Developer Tools and 9 more 2024-11-21 4.4 MEDIUM 7.0 HIGH
A crafted JPEG image may lead the JPEG reader to underflow its data pointer, allowing user-controlled data to be written in heap. To a successful to be performed the attacker needs to perform some triage over the heap layout and craft an image with a malicious format and payload. This vulnerability can lead to data corruption and eventual code execution or secure boot circumvention. This flaw affects grub2 versions prior grub-2.12.
CVE-2021-3696 3 Gnu, Netapp, Redhat 13 Grub2, Ontap Select Deploy Administration Utility, Codeready Linux Builder and 10 more 2024-11-21 6.9 MEDIUM 4.5 MEDIUM
A heap out-of-bounds write may heppen during the handling of Huffman tables in the PNG reader. This may lead to data corruption in the heap space. Confidentiality, Integrity and Availablity impact may be considered Low as it's very complex to an attacker control the encoding and positioning of corrupted Huffman entries to achieve results such as arbitrary code execution and/or secure boot circumvention. This flaw affects grub2 versions prior grub-2.12.
CVE-2021-3695 4 Fedoraproject, Gnu, Netapp and 1 more 14 Fedora, Grub2, Ontap Select Deploy Administration Utility and 11 more 2024-11-21 4.4 MEDIUM 4.5 MEDIUM
A crafted 16-bit grayscale PNG image may lead to a out-of-bounds write in the heap area. An attacker may take advantage of that to cause heap data corruption or eventually arbitrary code execution and circumvent secure boot protections. This issue has a high complexity to be exploited as an attacker needs to perform some triage over the heap layout to achieve signifcant results, also the values written into the memory are repeated three times in a row making difficult to produce valid payloads. This flaw affects grub2 versions prior grub-2.12.
CVE-2021-3690 1 Redhat 8 Enterprise Linux, Fuse, Integration Camel K and 5 more 2024-11-21 N/A 7.5 HIGH

An authenticated user could exploit this by re-using the image pull secret to pull container images from the registry as the associated user.
CVE-2021-3682 3 Debian, Qemu, Redhat 3 Debian Linux, Qemu, Enterprise Linux 2024-11-21 6.0 MEDIUM 8.5 HIGH
A flaw was found in the USB redirector device emulation of QEMU in versions prior to 6.1.0-rc2. It occurs when dropping packets during a bulk transfer from a SPICE client due to the packet queue being full. A malicious SPICE client could use this flaw to make QEMU call free() with faked heap chunk metadata, resulting in a crash of QEMU or potential code execution with the privileges of the QEMU process on the host.
CVE-2021-3679 3 Debian, Linux, Redhat 3 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2024-11-21 2.1 LOW 5.5 MEDIUM
A lack of CPU resource in the Linux kernel tracing module functionality in versions prior to 5.14-rc3 was found in the way user uses trace ring buffer in a specific way. Only privileged local users (with CAP_SYS_ADMIN capability) could use this flaw to starve the resources causing denial of service.
CVE-2021-3677 3 Fedoraproject, Postgresql, Redhat 7 Fedora, Postgresql, Enterprise Linux and 4 more 2024-11-21 4.0 MEDIUM 6.5 MEDIUM
A flaw was found in postgresql. A purpose-crafted query can read arbitrary bytes of server memory. In the default configuration, any authenticated database user can complete this attack at will. The attack does not require the ability to create objects. If server settings include max_worker_processes=0, the known versions of this attack are infeasible. However, undiscovered variants of the attack may be independent of that setting.
CVE-2021-3672 6 C-ares Project, Fedoraproject, Nodejs and 3 more 17 C-ares, Fedora, Node.js and 14 more 2024-11-21 6.8 MEDIUM 5.6 MEDIUM
A flaw was found in c-ares library, where a missing input validation check of host names returned by DNS (Domain Name Servers) can lead to output of wrong hostnames which might potentially lead to Domain Hijacking. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to confidentiality and integrity as well as system availability.
CVE-2021-3669 5 Debian, Fedoraproject, Ibm and 2 more 24 Debian Linux, Fedora, Spectrum Copy Data Management and 21 more 2024-11-21 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel. Measuring usage of the shared memory does not scale with large shared memory segment counts which could lead to resource exhaustion and DoS.
CVE-2021-3660 2 Cockpit-project, Redhat 2 Cockpit, Enterprise Linux 2024-11-21 4.3 MEDIUM 4.3 MEDIUM
Cockpit (and its plugins) do not seem to protect itself against clickjacking. It is possible to render a page from a cockpit server via another website, inside an <iFrame> HTML entry. This may be used by a malicious website in clickjacking or similar attacks.
CVE-2021-3659 3 Fedoraproject, Linux, Redhat 17 Fedora, Linux Kernel, Codeready Linux Builder and 14 more 2024-11-21 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
A NULL pointer dereference flaw was found in the Linux kernel’s IEEE 802.15.4 wireless networking subsystem in the way the user closes the LR-WPAN connection. This flaw allows a local user to crash the system. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to system availability.
CVE-2021-3657 4 Debian, Fedoraproject, Isync Project and 1 more 4 Debian Linux, Fedora, Isync and 1 more 2024-11-21 7.5 HIGH 9.8 CRITICAL
A flaw was found in mbsync versions prior to 1.4.4. Due to inadequate handling of extremely large (>=2GiB) IMAP literals, malicious or compromised IMAP servers, and hypothetically even external email senders, could cause several different buffer overflows, which could conceivably be exploited for remote code execution.
CVE-2021-3656 3 Fedoraproject, Linux, Redhat 26 Fedora, Linux Kernel, 3scale Api Management and 23 more 2024-11-21 7.2 HIGH 8.8 HIGH
A flaw was found in the KVM's AMD code for supporting SVM nested virtualization. The flaw occurs when processing the VMCB (virtual machine control block) provided by the L1 guest to spawn/handle a nested guest (L2). Due to improper validation of the "virt_ext" field, this issue could allow a malicious L1 to disable both VMLOAD/VMSAVE intercepts and VLS (Virtual VMLOAD/VMSAVE) for the L2 guest. As a result, the L2 guest would be allowed to read/write physical pages of the host, resulting in a crash of the entire system, leak of sensitive data or potential guest-to-host escape.
CVE-2021-3655 3 Debian, Linux, Redhat 3 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2024-11-21 2.1 LOW 3.3 LOW
A vulnerability was found in the Linux kernel in versions prior to v5.14-rc1. Missing size validations on inbound SCTP packets may allow the kernel to read uninitialized memory.
CVE-2021-3653 3 Debian, Linux, Redhat 3 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2024-11-21 6.1 MEDIUM 8.8 HIGH
A flaw was found in the KVM's AMD code for supporting SVM nested virtualization. The flaw occurs when processing the VMCB (virtual machine control block) provided by the L1 guest to spawn/handle a nested guest (L2). Due to improper validation of the "int_ctl" field, this issue could allow a malicious L1 to enable AVIC support (Advanced Virtual Interrupt Controller) for the L2 guest. As a result, the L2 guest would be allowed to read/write physical pages of the host, resulting in a crash of the entire system, leak of sensitive data or potential guest-to-host escape. This flaw affects Linux kernel versions prior to 5.14-rc7.
CVE-2021-3635 3 Fedoraproject, Linux, Redhat 3 Fedora, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2024-11-21 4.9 MEDIUM 4.4 MEDIUM
A flaw was found in the Linux kernel netfilter implementation in versions prior to 5.5-rc7. A user with root (CAP_SYS_ADMIN) access is able to panic the system when issuing netfilter netflow commands.
CVE-2021-3634 6 Debian, Fedoraproject, Libssh and 3 more 7 Debian Linux, Fedora, Libssh and 4 more 2024-11-21 4.0 MEDIUM 6.5 MEDIUM
A flaw has been found in libssh in versions prior to 0.9.6. The SSH protocol keeps track of two shared secrets during the lifetime of the session. One of them is called secret_hash and the other session_id. Initially, both of them are the same, but after key re-exchange, previous session_id is kept and used as an input to new secret_hash. Historically, both of these buffers had shared length variable, which worked as long as these buffers were same. But the key re-exchange operation can also change the key exchange method, which can be based on hash of different size, eventually creating "secret_hash" of different size than the session_id has. This becomes an issue when the session_id memory is zeroed or when it is used again during second key re-exchange.
CVE-2021-3632 1 Redhat 3 Enterprise Linux, Keycloak, Single Sign-on 2024-11-21 N/A 7.5 HIGH
A flaw was found in Keycloak. This vulnerability allows anyone to register a new security device or key when there is not a device already registered for any user by using the WebAuthn password-less login flow.
