CVE-2022-48740 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-05-27 N/A 7.8 HIGH
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: selinux: fix double free of cond_list on error paths On error path from cond_read_list() and duplicate_policydb_cond_list() the cond_list_destroy() gets called a second time in caller functions, resulting in NULL pointer deref. Fix this by resetting the cond_list_len to 0 in cond_list_destroy(), making subsequent calls a noop. Also consistently reset the cond_list pointer to NULL after freeing. [PM: fix line lengths in the description]
CVE-2023-44466 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-05-23 N/A 8.8 HIGH
An issue was discovered in net/ceph/messenger_v2.c in the Linux kernel before 6.4.5. There is an integer signedness error, leading to a buffer overflow and remote code execution via HELLO or one of the AUTH frames. This occurs because of an untrusted length taken from a TCP packet in ceph_decode_32.
CVE-2022-48735 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-05-23 N/A 7.8 HIGH
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: hda: Fix UAF of leds class devs at unbinding The LED class devices that are created by HD-audio codec drivers are registered via devm_led_classdev_register() and associated with the HD-audio codec device. Unfortunately, it turned out that the devres release doesn't work for this case; namely, since the codec resource release happens before the devm call chain, it triggers a NULL dereference or a UAF for a stale set_brightness_delay callback. For fixing the bug, this patch changes the LED class device register and unregister in a manual manner without devres, keeping the instances in hda_gen_spec.
CVE-2024-36477 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-05-23 N/A 7.8 HIGH
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tpm_tis_spi: Account for SPI header when allocating TPM SPI xfer buffer The TPM SPI transfer mechanism uses MAX_SPI_FRAMESIZE for computing the maximum transfer length and the size of the transfer buffer. As such, it does not account for the 4 bytes of header that prepends the SPI data frame. This can result in out-of-bounds accesses and was confirmed with KASAN. Introduce SPI_HDRSIZE to account for the header and use to allocate the transfer buffer.
CVE-2022-22423 2 Ibm, Linux 5 Aix, Common Cryptographic Architecture, I and 2 more 2025-05-22 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
IBM Common Cryptographic Architecture (CCA 5.x MTM for 4767 and CCA 7.x MTM for 4769) could allow a local user to cause a denial of service due to improper input validation. IBM X-Force ID: 223596.
CVE-2022-35721 3 Ibm, Linux, Microsoft 4 Aix, Jazz For Service Management, Linux Kernel and 1 more 2025-05-22 N/A 5.4 MEDIUM
IBM Jazz for Service Management 1.1.3 is vulnerable to stored cross-site scripting. This vulnerability allows users to embed arbitrary JavaScript code in the Web UI thus altering the intended functionality potentially leading to credentials disclosure within a trusted session. IBM X-Force ID: 231380.
CVE-2021-28715 2 Debian, Linux 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel 2025-05-22 2.1 LOW 6.5 MEDIUM
Guest can force Linux netback driver to hog large amounts of kernel memory T[his CNA information record relates to multiple CVEs; the text explains which aspects/vulnerabilities correspond to which CVE.] Incoming data packets for a guest in the Linux kernel's netback driver are buffered until the guest is ready to process them. There are some measures taken for avoiding to pile up too much data, but those can be bypassed by the guest: There is a timeout how long the client side of an interface can stop consuming new packets before it is assumed to have stalled, but this timeout is rather long (60 seconds by default). Using a UDP connection on a fast interface can easily accumulate gigabytes of data in that time. (CVE-2021-28715) The timeout could even never trigger if the guest manages to have only one free slot in its RX queue ring page and the next package would require more than one free slot, which may be the case when using GSO, XDP, or software hashing. (CVE-2021-28714)
CVE-2022-40748 3 Ibm, Linux, Microsoft 4 Aix, Infosphere Information Server, Linux Kernel and 1 more 2025-05-22 N/A 5.4 MEDIUM
IBM InfoSphere Information Server 11.7 is vulnerable to cross-site scripting. This vulnerability allows users to embed arbitrary JavaScript code in the Web UI thus altering the intended functionality potentially leading to credentials disclosure within a trusted session. IBM X-Force ID: 236586.
CVE-2024-50203 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-05-22 N/A 7.8 HIGH
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf, arm64: Fix address emission with tag-based KASAN enabled When BPF_TRAMP_F_CALL_ORIG is enabled, the address of a bpf_tramp_image struct on the stack is passed during the size calculation pass and an address on the heap is passed during code generation. This may cause a heap buffer overflow if the heap address is tagged because emit_a64_mov_i64() will emit longer code than it did during the size calculation pass. The same problem could occur without tag-based KASAN if one of the 16-bit words of the stack address happened to be all-ones during the size calculation pass. Fix the problem by assuming the worst case (4 instructions) when calculating the size of the bpf_tramp_image address emission.
CVE-2022-49168 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-05-22 N/A 7.8 HIGH
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: btrfs: do not clean up repair bio if submit fails The submit helper will always run bio_endio() on the bio if it fails to submit, so cleaning up the bio just leads to a variety of use-after-free and NULL pointer dereference bugs because we race with the endio function that is cleaning up the bio. Instead just return BLK_STS_OK as the repair function has to continue to process the rest of the pages, and the endio for the repair bio will do the appropriate cleanup for the page that it was given.
CVE-2022-3103 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-05-21 N/A 7.8 HIGH
off-by-one in io_uring module.
CVE-2022-3303 2 Debian, Linux 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel 2025-05-21 N/A 4.7 MEDIUM
A race condition flaw was found in the Linux kernel sound subsystem due to improper locking. It could lead to a NULL pointer dereference while handling the SNDCTL_DSP_SYNC ioctl. A privileged local user (root or member of the audio group) could use this flaw to crash the system, resulting in a denial of service condition
CVE-2022-2778 3 Linux, Microsoft, Octopus 3 Linux Kernel, Windows, Octopus Server 2025-05-20 N/A 9.8 CRITICAL
In affected versions of Octopus Deploy it is possible to bypass rate limiting on login using null bytes.
CVE-2022-41848 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-05-20 N/A 4.2 MEDIUM
drivers/char/pcmcia/synclink_cs.c in the Linux kernel through 5.19.12 has a race condition and resultant use-after-free if a physically proximate attacker removes a PCMCIA device while calling ioctl, aka a race condition between mgslpc_ioctl and mgslpc_detach.
CVE-2022-40277 3 Canonical, Joplinapp, Linux 3 Ubuntu Linux, Joplin, Linux Kernel 2025-05-20 N/A 7.8 HIGH
Joplin version 2.8.8 allows an external attacker to execute arbitrary commands remotely on any client that opens a link in a malicious markdown file, via Joplin. This is possible because the application does not properly validate the schema/protocol of existing links in the markdown file before passing them to the 'shell.openExternal' function.
CVE-2022-40274 2 Gridea, Linux 2 Gridea, Linux Kernel 2025-05-20 N/A 7.8 HIGH
Gridea version 0.9.3 allows an external attacker to execute arbitrary code remotely on any client attempting to view a malicious markdown file through Gridea. This is possible because the application has the 'nodeIntegration' option enabled.
CVE-2024-36941 2 Debian, Linux 2 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel 2025-05-20 N/A 5.5 MEDIUM
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: nl80211: don't free NULL coalescing rule If the parsing fails, we can dereference a NULL pointer here.
CVE-2022-42717 2 Hashicorp, Linux 2 Vagrant, Linux Kernel 2025-05-20 N/A 7.8 HIGH
An issue was discovered in Hashicorp Packer before 2.3.1. The recommended sudoers configuration for Vagrant on Linux is insecure. If the host has been configured according to this documentation, non-privileged users on the host can leverage a wildcard in the sudoers configuration to execute arbitrary commands as root.
CVE-2024-8207 2 Linux, Mongodb 2 Linux Kernel, Mongodb 2025-05-16 N/A 6.4 MEDIUM
In certain highly specific configurations of the host system and MongoDB server binary installation on Linux Operating Systems, it may be possible for a unintended actor with host-level access to cause the MongoDB Server binary to load unintended actor-controlled shared libraries when the server binary is started, potentially resulting in the unintended actor gaining full control over the MongoDB server process. This issue affects MongoDB Server v5.0 versions prior to 5.0.14 and MongoDB Server v6.0 versions prior to 6.0.3. Required Configuration: Only environments with Linux as the underlying operating system is affected by this issue
CVE-2022-48425 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2025-05-16 N/A 7.8 HIGH
