| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: atlantic: Fix DMA mapping for PTP hwts ring Function aq_ring_hwts_rx_alloc() maps extra AQ_CFG_RXDS_DEF bytes for PTP HWTS ring but then generic aq_ring_free() does not take this into account. Create and use a specific function to free HWTS ring to fix this issue. | CVE-2023-52584 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2025-03-14 | N/A | 3.8 LOW |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: spmi: mediatek: Fix UAF on device remove The pmif driver data that contains the clocks is allocated along with spmi_controller. On device remove, spmi_controller will be freed first, and then devres , including the clocks, will be cleanup. This leads to UAF because putting the clocks will access the clocks in the pmif driver data, which is already freed along with spmi_controller. This can be reproduced by enabling DEBUG_TEST_DRIVER_REMOVE and building the kernel with KASAN. Fix the UAF issue by using unmanaged clk_bulk_get() and putting the clocks before freeing spmi_controller. | |||||
| CVE-2021-46973 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2025-03-14 | N/A | 8.4 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: qrtr: Avoid potential use after free in MHI send It is possible that the MHI ul_callback will be invoked immediately following the queueing of the skb for transmission, leading to the callback decrementing the refcount of the associated sk and freeing the skb. As such the dereference of skb and the increment of the sk refcount must happen before the skb is queued, to avoid the skb to be used after free and potentially the sk to drop its last refcount.. | |||||

| CVE-2021-47162 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2025-03-13 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tipc: skb_linearize the head skb when reassembling msgs It's not a good idea to append the frag skb to a skb's frag_list if the frag_list already has skbs from elsewhere, such as this skb was created by pskb_copy() where the frag_list was cloned (all the skbs in it were skb_get'ed) and shared by multiple skbs. However, the new appended frag skb should have been only seen by the current skb. Otherwise, it will cause use after free crashes as this appended frag skb are seen by multiple skbs but it only got skb_get called once. The same thing happens with a skb updated by pskb_may_pull() with a skb_cloned skb. Li Shuang has reported quite a few crashes caused by this when doing testing over macvlan devices: [] kernel BUG at net/core/skbuff.c:1970! [] Call Trace: [] skb_clone+0x4d/0xb0 [] macvlan_broadcast+0xd8/0x160 [macvlan] [] macvlan_process_broadcast+0x148/0x150 [macvlan] [] process_one_work+0x1a7/0x360 [] worker_thread+0x30/0x390 [] kernel BUG at mm/usercopy.c:102! This patch is to fix it by linearizing the head skb if it has frag_list set in tipc_buf_append(). Note that we choose to do this before calling skb_unshare(), as __skb_linearize() will avoid skb_copy(). Also, we can not just drop the frag_list either as the early time. | |||||
| CVE-2024-4368 | 2 Fedoraproject, Google | 2 Fedora, Chrome | 2025-03-13 | N/A | 8.8 HIGH |

| CVE-2024-26630 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2025-03-13 | N/A | 7.1 HIGH |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm: cachestat: fix folio read-after-free in cache walk In cachestat, we access the folio from the page cache's xarray to compute its page offset, and check for its dirty and writeback flags. However, we do not hold a reference to the folio before performing these actions, which means the folio can concurrently be released and reused as another folio/page/slab. Get around this altogether by just using xarray's existing machinery for the folio page offsets and dirty/writeback states. This changes behavior for tmpfs files to now always report zeroes in their dirty and writeback counters. This is okay as tmpfs doesn't follow conventional writeback cache behavior: its pages get "cleaned" during swapout, after which they're no longer resident etc. | |||||
| CVE-2021-47113 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2025-03-13 | N/A | 5.5 MEDIUM |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: btrfs: abort in rename_exchange if we fail to insert the second ref Error injection stress uncovered a problem where we'd leave a dangling inode ref if we failed during a rename_exchange. This happens because we insert the inode ref for one side of the rename, and then for the other side. If this second inode ref insert fails we'll leave the first one dangling and leave a corrupt file system behind. Fix this by aborting if we did the insert for the first inode ref. | |||||
