In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: remove two BUG() from skb_checksum_help() I have a syzbot report that managed to get a crash in skb_checksum_help() If syzbot can trigger these BUG(), it makes sense to replace them with more friendly WARN_ON_ONCE() since skb_checksum_help() can instead return an error code. Note that syzbot will still crash there, until real bug is fixed.

  • (es) En el kernel de Linux, se ha resuelto la siguiente vulnerabilidad: net: eliminar dos BUG() de skb_checksum_help() Tengo un informe de syzbot que logró obtener un bloqueo en skb_checksum_help() Si syzbot puede activar estos BUG(), tiene sentido reemplazarlos con WARN_ON_ONCE() más amigables ya que skb_checksum_help() puede devolver un código de error. Tenga en cuenta que syzbot seguirá fallando allí, hasta que se solucione el error real.
