CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drivers: perf: Check find_first_bit() return value
We must check the return value of find_first_bit() before using the
return value as an index array since it happens to overflow the array
and then panic:

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ALSA: scarlett2: Add missing error check to scarlett2_usb_set_config()
scarlett2_usb_set_config() calls scarlett2_usb_get() but was not
checking the result. Return the error if it fails rather than
continuing with an invalid value. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ALSA: scarlett2: Add missing error checks to *_ctl_get()
The *_ctl_get() functions which call scarlett2_update_*() were not
checking the return value. Fix to check the return value and pass to
the caller. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
crypto: safexcel - Add error handling for dma_map_sg() calls
Macro dma_map_sg() may return 0 on error. This patch enables
checks in case of the macro failure and ensures unmapping of
previously mapped buffers with dma_unmap_sg().
Found by Linux Verification Center (linuxtesting.org) with static
analysis tool SVACE. |
| An unchecked return value in Ivanti Connect Secure before 22.7R2.9 or 22.8R2, Ivanti Policy Secure before 22.7R1.6, Ivanti ZTA Gateway before 2.8R2.3-723 and Ivanti Neurons for Secure Access before 22.8R1.4 (Fix deployed on 02-Aug-2025) allows a remote authenticated attacker with admin privileges to trigger a denial of service. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
serial: liteuart: fix minor-number leak on probe errors
Make sure to release the allocated minor number before returning on
probe errors. |
| X.Org X Window System (aka X11 and X) X11R5 and X.Org Server (aka xserver and xorg-server) before 1.16.3, when using SUN-DES-1 (Secure RPC) authentication credentials, does not check the return value of a malloc call, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (NULL pointer dereference and server crash) via a crafted connection request. |
| In Samba, GnuTLS gnutls_rnd() can fail and give predictable random values. |
| Improper input validation in some Zoom Apps may allow an unauthenticated user to conduct a disclosure of information via network access. |
| In the CODESYS V2 web server prior to V1.1.9.22 crafted web server requests can trigger a parser error. Since the parser result is not checked under all conditions, a pointer dereference with an invalid address can occur. This leads to a denial of service situation. |
| An issue was discovered in Insyde InsydeH2O with kernel 5.0 through 5.5. The CapsuleIFWUSmm driver does not check the return value from a method or function. This can prevent it from detecting unexpected states and conditions. |
| list_item_verbose in tar/util.c in libarchive through 3.7.7 does not check an strftime return value, which can lead to a denial of service or unspecified other impact via a crafted TAR archive that is read with a verbose value of 2. For example, the 100-byte buffer may not be sufficient for a custom locale. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/amd/display: Validate function returns
[WHAT & HOW]
Function return values must be checked before data can be used
in subsequent functions.
This fixes 4 CHECKED_RETURN issues reported by Coverity. |
| A flaw was found in glibc. The realpath() function can mistakenly return an unexpected value, potentially leading to information leakage and disclosure of sensitive data. |
| NASA CryptoLib before 1.3.2 does not check the OTAR crypto function returned status, potentially leading to spacecraft hijacking. |
| HashiCorp Consul and Consul Enterprise up to 1.11.8, 1.12.4, and 1.13.1 do not check for multiple SAN URI values in a CSR on the internal RPC endpoint, enabling leverage of privileged access to bypass service mesh intentions. Fixed in 1.11.9, 1.12.5, and 1.13.2." |
| An issue has been found in PBC through 2022-8-27. A SEGV issue detected in the function pbc_wmessage_integer in src/wmessage.c:137. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
binder: make sure fd closes complete
During BC_FREE_BUFFER processing, the BINDER_TYPE_FDA object
cleanup may close 1 or more fds. The close operations are
completed using the task work mechanism -- which means the thread
needs to return to userspace or the file object may never be
dereferenced -- which can lead to hung processes.
Force the binder thread back to userspace if an fd is closed during
BC_FREE_BUFFER handling. |
| An Unchecked Return Value to NULL Pointer Dereference vulnerability in Packet Forwarding Engine (PFE) of Juniper Networks Junos OS allows an unauthenticated, network-based attacker to cause a Denial of Service (DoS). On SRX Series if Unified Threat Management (UTM) Enhanced Content Filtering (CF) and AntiVirus (AV) are enabled together and the system processes specific valid transit traffic the Packet Forwarding Engine (PFE) will crash and restart. This issue affects Juniper Networks Junos OS 21.4 versions prior to 21.4R1-S2, 21.4R2 on SRX Series. This issue does not affect Juniper Networks Junos OS versions prior to 21.4R1. |
| An Unchecked Return Value to NULL Pointer Dereference vulnerability in Routing Protocol Daemon (rpd) of Juniper Networks Junos OS and Junos OS Evolved allows a locally authenticated attacker with low privileges to cause a Denial of Service (DoS). In Segment Routing (SR) to Label Distribution Protocol (LDP) interworking scenario, configured with Segment Routing Mapping Server (SRMS) at any node, when an Area Border Router (ABR) leaks the SRMS entries having "S" flag set from IS-IS Level 2 to Level 1, an rpd core might be observed when a specific low privileged CLI command is issued. This issue affects: Juniper Networks Junos OS 21.4 versions prior to 21.4R1-S2, 21.4R2-S1, 21.4R3; 22.1 versions prior to 22.1R2. Juniper Networks Junos OS Evolved 21.4-EVO versions prior to 21.4R1-S2-EVO, 21.4R2-S1-EVO, 21.4R3-EVO; 22.1-EVO versions prior to 22.1R2-EVO. This issue does not affect: Juniper Networks Junos OS versions prior to 21.4R1. Juniper Networks Junos OS Evolved versions prior to 21.4R1-EVO. |
